- Jon Emmons has been designing and deploying systems and database servers for several years in both corporate and higher education. Working extensively with Oracle database and application server on UNIX and Linux, Jon has managed implementations ranging from desktop workstations for academic research to large muti-tier load balanced custom web application farms.
Jon is the author of Oracle Shell Scripting and co-authored the book Easy Linux Commands.
Currently specializing in Oracle consulting Jon serves clients all over the United States. For his contributions to the oracle community through his blog and other publishing Jon has been awarded the Oracle ACE Award.
Jon is currently employed as a Senior Technical Consultant at a major software and services company.
